I was never good in keeping a diary. Period. It’s not that I don’t like writing, I was just never good at managing my time and saving something for this type of activity. Maybe it’s the same with my blog, which I restarted several times now. Until now, it was easy to keep it going because I didn’t have to write myself. I only used quotes from others that moved me. I’m still going to do that but from now on I will also try to be a better host when you visit my site.
So what will you find here from now on ? I don’t really care about the newest 50 Megapixel camera or the sharpest lens that just hit the shelves. There are great websites out there that already do a great job in writing about that. Phoblographer would be one of them if you are interested. Don’t get me wrong, gear is important to some degree, but these days we seem to care more about bokeh than about making a connection.
That’s the reason why I want to talk about photography itself and not the tools we need to pursue it. When I have stories to share about my travels, when I found a great photographer on the Internet or when I read a useful book, from now on, I am going to share it with you. When you have any questions or suggestions, feel free to write me.
